Luni

Luaai (6 years old) was born a Syrian refugee in Lebanon. His parents fled the city of Damascus in 2012. Luaai has not been to school before. Upon successfully completing Gharsah’s entry program, he hopes to enter public school in Lebanon this Fall, 2022.

The Gharsah school was established in 2014 in the Bekaa region of Lebanon by a group of Syrian activists and multidisciplinary professionals wishing to alleviate the hardships of displaced Syrians through education. Gharsah is certified by the Lebanese Ministry of Education to provide students who successfully complete their transition course to enter the Lebanese Public school system.

By hosting this campaign, you can meet with Luni and his parents over video chat, and then lead a fundraiser through your network to meet the goal.
